    Scott Bookman and Olds are joined on this new release by bassist Sam Frantz, and drummer Matt Blank. Primitive Agriculture is a musical dialogue: ALL tracks were spontaneously played and composed with no rehearsal or discussion. The joy of this collaborative is evident from the kinetic- and sometimes frenetic- sounds that emerged during the sessions. Occasionally jam-band trippy, sometimes avant-garde, hints of raw bluesy riffing, single-chord stretches evoking middle eastern drone pieces, moments of folk rock deconstructed, seconds of computer strangulation- this improvised collection of sounds contains moments of touching beauty, periods of moody sound meandering, and at times, sharp, atonal tension.
